The Daily Campus Online Newspaper in Bangladesh

The Daily Campus, a student-run newspaper at the University of Connecticut, was started in 1896 and has a readership of 5,000 on weekdays during the school year. [1] The Daily Campus, behind The Daily Collegian (UMass) and The Harvard Crimson, has the greatest circulation of any college daily in Connecticut and the third-largest in New England (Harvard University). [requires citation] The journal has gone under numerous names since its inception in 1896, when it was first published as The Storrs Agricultural College Lookout, a monthly publication. In 1915, it was renamed The Connecticut Campus, then The Connecticut Daily Campus, and finally The Daily Campus in 1984.

In 1952, it started publishing five days a week during the school year, and in 1955, it became a morning paper.

The Daily Campus Building, located at 1266 Storrs Road in Storrs, Connecticut, is where the newspaper's offices are located. The paper was initially located across campus at 121 North Eagleville Road, but in 1991/1992, it was relocated to its current site. [when?] The building was formerly known as 11 Dog Lane, but in the spring of 2012, it was renamed 1266 Storrs Road to suit the new buildings being built opposite it as part of the new Storrs Center.

The building is across the street from the Fine Arts Building and next to Buckley Residence Hall at the south entrance to campus. The business personnel and front desk are on the bottom floor, while the newsroom and conference room are on the second. The offices of the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, and Associate Managing Editor are on the second level, while the office of the Business Manager is on the first.

News, Opinion, Life, and Sports are the four primary parts of the daily. Each division has its own department, which is overseen by an editor and an assistant editor. In addition, there is a Photography department that delivers student-shot photographs for each section. A photo editor and an associate editor oversee the photographers. In the Circulation department, a Circulation Manager sets delivery routes and supervises these student-drivers. There's also an Advertising Director, a Financial Manager, a Business Manager, a Digital Editor, and an Associate Digital Editor working for the paper.
